Remote Deposit Capture Wachovia’s innovative Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) technology allows you to deposit checks 24/7 without ever leaving your office. You simply image checks at your location(s) and submit the images through a secure Internet connection that automatically reads your checks for deposit amount and other key information. Once posted to your account, you receive e-mail confirmation from Wachovia upon receipt of transmission. There is both an online version (thin client) and one in which you install software (smart client), but all upgrades/changes/enhancements are pushed out when you log in.
